Hey Ya'll I'm LaToya Rodriguez the Owner and Lead Floral Designer at Rose Soiree!
I began my passion for Floral Design many years ago in 2006 when almost no one knew of You Tube! I taught myself how to make my own floral bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding in June of 2007. A few years later I had the opportunity to learn more about design at a local retail florist. From 2010 on I learned the basics of floral and balloon design there. Again my quest for learning never ended, I sought out videos, e- courses, books and magazines to aid in my knowledge and design skills. Over the years my education took my career down other paths, I often freelanced for several South Texas floral shops. I learned from other Floral Boss Babes working for them at holidays and large events, and dabbled doing small events of my own for family and friends. After a few years of working full- time and the freelancing side hustle in late 2019 I had the opportunity to purchase a home floral business. With the help of my village I changed the name, logo, re-branded, and Rose Soiree was born!
My 7 year old daughter is my floral apprentice, my 9 year old son sweeps the floor and takes out the trash. My husband and Uncle make most of the deliveries. My Mom, Dad, Aunts, and friends are often around to lend a helping hand when I need it! This is very much a family business and we appreciate the support of our community! This journey has not been easy, but it has always been worth it! I hope you love Rose Soiree as much as I do!
